Eligibility Criteria for Principal at SIHM Balangir

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must meet one of the following categories:

Category-A:

  • Post-graduation from a recognized university.

  • Full-time Degree/Diploma (3 years) in Hotel/Hospitality Management (55% minimum) from:

    • NCHMCT-affiliated institutes

    • AICTE/State Board/UGC-recognized institutions

    • Foreign universities (AIU-recognized)

  • Desirable: Ph.D. Degree

Category-B:

  • PG Degree/Diploma in Management/Tourism (60% minimum) from UGC/AICTE-recognized institutions.

  • Work Experience:

    • Private Sector: 17+ years in hospitality/tourism (including 3+ years in teaching/training).

    • Govt/PSUs: 20+ years with 3+ years in teaching/training.

Category-C:

  • PG Degree/Diploma in Management/Tourism.

  • Govt/PSU Officers: Must be in Pay Level-15 or have 5+ years in Pay Level-13.
